Technical Sales Manager
At Amber Sound, we supply professional audio and communications systems to some of the UK’s leading venues, production companies, theatres, corporate event teams and live events professionals.
We are looking for an experienced and technically minded individual to join our growing team in the role of Technical Sales Manager.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with hands-on industry experience who has a strong practical understanding of professional audio systems, wireless microphone systems, RF coordination, communications systems, networking and live event workflows. The role would particularly suit someone looking to bring their technical industry knowledge into a more structured, long-term Monday - Friday position.
We pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service and are looking for someone who is engaging, organised, dynamic and confident communicating with both customers and colleagues.
You’ll be responsible for helping customers turn technical requirements into practical, real-world solutions, while supporting the wider sales team with quotations, specifications and project work. The successful candidate will also provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting across the brands we supply. While we are ideally looking for someone who can hit the ground running, training can be provided for the right individual.
Amber Sound is a small business and being the right fit for the team is an important part of the role. Communication is at the core of what we do, so we’re looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated and willing to support the wider business when needed.
We welcome new ideas and encourage people to take ownership of their role, contribute to the development of the company and help shape the future of the business.
The position can be office-based or hybrid, as we are focused on finding the right person rather than a specific location.
